London, United Kingdom (uk.gov.krd)- The Kurdistan Regional Government High Representative to the United Kingdom, Karwan Jamal Tahir met with the Rt Hon Alistair Burt MP, UK Minister of State for International Development and Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to discuss the bilateral relations and the recent political developments in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
The two sides underlined the challenges facing the country and the KRG’s efforts to defuse the current political crisis. Mr Tahir highlighted the historic relationship between the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom and expressed the Kurdistan Regional Government’s call for de-escalation and dialogue.
