KRG UK attends the Gala openning of the 14th London Kurdish Film Festival

the KRG High Representative, Khasro Ajgayi Director of Political and Media
Affairs, and Hawre Wahid, Director of Trade and Investment attended the opening
Gala of the 14th London Kurdish Film Festival.
The
event attended by several London local government’s officials, British &
Kurdish cultural organisations, Kurdish and international filmmakers and
artists, Kurdish diaspora and friends of Kurdistan, featured speeches
highlighting such festival's important role in showcasing Kurdish culture,
suffering, and the Kurdish nation's legitimate cause. Speakers praised Kurdish
filmmakers for significantly advancing the film industry, using it effectively
for soft diplomacy and producing high-quality films in order to be shown in the
international festivals.
The
festival will screen 58 films, including 10 features, 13 documentaries, 20
short films, 14 documentaries, and one animation.
